We build tough, custom gear for real river days—so we want you stoked with every order. But hey, life happens. Here's our straightforward take on refunds, returns, shipping, and that sweet local delivery option.

1. Returns & Exchanges – The Basics

  • 30-Day Window: Return or exchange most items within 30 days of delivery.
  • Conditions: Unused, original condition, original packaging. Check product pages—some stuff (like custom frames) is final sale.
  • Custom Gear: No returns on made-to-order raft frames, fabricated parts, or anything built just for you.
  • Pro Program: Same rules—refunds based on your discounted price.

2. How to Start a Return/Exchange

  1. Hit us up at info@rivercastdesigns.com with your order number and why.
  2. We'll approve and send instructions (or a prepaid label if it's our fault).
  3. Ship it back within 10 days—keep it secure.

3. Refunds – What Comes Back

  • Full Refund: Product cost (minus original shipping) back to your card/PayPal in 5–10 business days post-inspection.
  • Partial: If it's used or missing bits, we'll adjust fairly.
  • Shipping? Non-refundable. But if we screwed up (wrong/damaged item), we cover return shipping—no charge to you. Free shipping promos? That credit stays gone.
  • Restocking Fee: Might apply on some returns—check at checkout.

4. Damaged, Wrong, or Defective?

  • Email us within 48 hours with pics.
  • We'll replace, exchange, or refund—and eat the shipping both ways.

5. Shipping Policy (Straight from Us)

  • Processing: 1–3 business days (no weekends/holidays). Tracking email when it ships.
  • Methods: Standard ground or expedited—times vary by spot, weather, or carrier.
  • Charges: Calculated at checkout based on order, method, destination. Watch for free shipping deals.
  • Local Delivery/Pickup: We're in Colorado (Avon area vibe)—if you're nearby, select local delivery at checkout. We contact you to schedule; someone's gotta be there. No explicit "pickup" at our shop, but delivery's for folks in our radius—super handy for big frames.

6. Exchanges Same 30 days. Want a different size/color? We guide you—outbound shipping on us if it's our error.

7. Exceptions

  • Sale/clearance/gift cards: No go.
  • Used gear: Only if defective.
  • International: Product refund only—shipping's on you.
